Suburbia Clients Win Big at 2008 Canadian Shopping Centre Awards

VICTORIA, BC – Suburbia Advertising is pleased to congratulate four clients who received national awards recognizing excellence in shopping centre marketing from the International Council of Shopping Centers at a ceremony in Toronto on October 29.

Coquitlam Centre in Coquitlam, BC and Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket, Ontario swept the Advertising category for centres between 750,001 and 1,000,000 sq. ft. with gold and silver Maple Leaf awards respectively.

Upper Canada Mall was a multiple winner, taking home five additional awards in the Grand Opening, Expansion & Renovation, Public Relations, Sales Promotion and Events, and Development/Design categories.

Finalists included Woodgrove Centre in Nanaimo, BC in the Business-to-Business category, and Willowbrook Shopping Centre in Langley, BC in the Community Relations category.
