Suburbia Advertising Contributes to "Children's Statement on Climate Change"
7 December 2009
VICTORIA, BC – Suburbia Advertising is proud to announce that illustrations by its Senior Art Director, Russ Willms, will be featured in a book to be distributed to each delegate at the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen beginning December 7, 2009. The purpose of the book is to remind attendees of the conference that climate change is about children and young people’s futures. Entitled, “Children’s Statement on Climate Change,” the book is comprised of young people’s answers to three questions including, “What do you think that you can do about climate change?” “What can people in your local community, government, and the international Copenhagen conference do about it?” And finally, “What worries you the most about climate change?”
“It’s a terrific opportunity to showcase Russ’s extraordinary illustration talent on a global stage,” says Jacquie Arnatt, General Manager. “It’s also exciting to be part of an educational initiative the will benefit generations to come.”
